The Porcupine Music Festival de Musique is pleased to offer financial assistance to Festival participants and past Festival alumni to pursue advanced extra educational music programs such as summer programs, master classes, lessons with distinguished teachers, etc.
The criteria for applying for the bursary is as follows:
1) The bursary will be up to a maximum of $3,500.00 per program and may be awarded a maximum of twice to any one applicant.
2) Proof of registration is required prior to the program taking place. Receipts are required upon completion of the program.
3) Successful applicants must provide a detailed written report outlining the experiences and knowledge gained from participation in this program.
4) Funds will be disbursed by the Festival to successful applicants prior to the commencement of the program.
5) Festival alumni must be currently enrolled in a postsecondary (University or College) music program.
The application deadline is April 30th of program year.
